Accomplishments

• Successfully helped to integrate a new entrepreneurial curriculum that is being implemented in Sturgis Schools grades 7 through 12 as a pilot year.
• Held our 1st Annual Golf Outing in August of 2005 at Island Hills Golf Course, in which we raised over $2000 toward our efforts.
• We are currently working on expanding our hiking, biking, and water trails in St. Joseph County.
• We are partnering with the South West Michigan Sustainable Business Forum out of Kalamazoo in order to bring more awareness and understanding regarding sustainability issues.
• In January, we had our 1st Annual Benefit dinner with guest speaker Mark Newman, Sr. Vice President of Baseball Operations for the New York Yankees. This event was very successful and we were able to raise over $6000! Stay tuned for plans for next year!
